Vale Global Trainee Program
Global Trainee Program was a talent and leadership development system designed for Vale in partnership with Cia de Talentos to reposition its global trainee program. The initiative began as a pilot across Brazil, Canada, and Mozambique and later expanded to Indonesia, doubling the number of participants in its second year.
Based on research into the expectations of new generations and the challenges of organizational transformation, the project integrated employer branding, experiential learning, and leadership development into a single, cohesive journey.
The result was an end-to-end experience connecting recruitment, onboarding, immersive learning experiences, in-person training, and online microlearning. The program addressed the company’s strategic people-development goals while strengthening a pipeline of leaders prepared to operate in complex global environments.
As Project Manager, I was responsible for the conception, design, and overall management of the initiative, including the employer branding campaign, working closely with multidisciplinary consulting, learning, and communication teams.
