The Future of Relationships in 2040: New Ways of Loving and Belonging was a strategic foresight project developed for Sympla to explore how cultural, technological, and demographic shifts may redefine the ways people build social and emotional connections by 2040. Through trend research, emerging signal analysis, and future scenario development, the study identified evolving concepts of intimacy, belonging, community, and family, as well as their implications for products, services, and experiences.
The outcome was a strategic report that translated signals of change into innovation opportunities, helping marketing, product, and strategy teams make more informed decisions in uncertain and rapidly evolving contexts.
